Europe ne ab tak ki sabse tej kadam uthaaya hai Chinese super-cheap e-commerce platforms ke khilaf. 1 July 2026 se, European Union (EU) ne har low-value parcel jo Chinese online retailers se aa raha tha, us par 3 euro fee lagan shuru kar diya hai.

2022 mein, 1.4 billion e-commerce parcels EU mein duty-free enter kiye gaye the. 2025 tak, yeh figure 5.8 billion ho gaya — sirf teen saal mein char guna increase.

“Is exemption ka galat istemal hua aur industrial scale pe misuse kiya gaya taaki European businesses ke khilaf unfair competitive advantage banayi ja sake,” European Parliament member Dirk Gotink ne kaha.

Ye 3 euro fee abhi ke liye temporary measure hai. 1 July 2028 se, naya EU Customs Authority kaam karega aur tab category-specific duties lagegi.
